7 Days of Prayer & Fasting is a sacred time set aside as a church body to seek the Lord with intentionality, humility, and surrender. Over the course of seven days, we devote ourselves to prayer and fasting as a way to examine our hearts, consecrate our lives, and realign every area of our walk with God.
Fasting is a spiritual discipline that may include abstaining from food for certain periods of time or setting aside specific foods, habits, or distractions as the Lord leads. As we deny the desires of the flesh, we posture our hearts to hear God more clearly and to respond in obedience. This is not about ritual or performance, but about surrender—allowing the Holy Spirit to search us, refine us, and transform us.
Each day of this journey focuses on a specific area of surrender—our heart posture, consecration, freedom, stewardship, relationships, spiritual disciplines, and discipleship. Through Scripture, prayer, and reflection, we invite the Lord to do a deep work in us so that we may be conformed to the image of Christ and prepared to live lives that honor Him.
This is 7 Days of Surrender—laying down control, repenting where needed, renewing our commitment to holiness, and saying yes to God’s purposes for our lives.
There are several ways to engage in this fast, and we encourage you to prayerfully consider what God may be calling you to do. Click below to learn more about fasting and different options to participate.
“So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Come close to God, and God will come close to you.”
